Have you heard the words "Money Diet"? Maybe some of you are quite familiar about it or maybe some of you are really into it. But for those who don't know what this so called "Money Diet", its simply a process of figure-outing  your weekly budget  and auditing your expenses. Therefore it goes on with the goal of cutting down the unimportant spending.

I've been doing this process for quite a while now and it really works on me. How to do it? Just as simple as in three steps. All you need is a notepad and of course determination in handling your spending habits:

1. First, you gotta know how much cash you need to cover a week’s worth of casual expenses such as gro
ceries, foods, gasoline or transportation expenses and any necessary expenses.

2. Then, be honest. Don’t deliberately overestimate so that you’re sure to have enough cash to get through the week.

3. Lastly, if you'll make it through the week with the cash set aside, congratulations! If you need to make a trip to the ATM, it’s OK. Review your purchases and see where you could have trimmed costs. This is all about developing a mind-set where you seriously keep in mind daily cash expenditures.

Very easy right? :) As long as you're really determined to have more figures in your savings account and of course long-term financial plans that stay on track... you can make it! Good luck on your money diet! :)
