The first thing you will need to do is create a site to host Adsense ads on. This can be a blog (weblog) or a website. There are many places on the web to get free sites. Blogger is my personal favorite. There are many different pre-made templates to choose from or you make upload your own personal template. Once you have created your site, you will want to sign up for a Google Adsense account.It will take Adsense 2 business days to approve your account. After you have your site and your Adsense account setup, you will need to verify your site with Adsense Webmaster Tools. You will find the Webmaster Tools on the Earnings page once you are logged into your Adsense account. Webmaster is in the Site Diagnostics tab located under the Resources tab.

Now that you are in the Webmaster Tools, choose to verify your site. There are two options to choose from, add a Meta tag or upload an HTML file (Hypertext Markup Language). Personally I think that adding a Meta tag is the easiest choice. Choose the verify your site with a Meta tag option and copy the Meta tag code by right clicking on your mouse and clicking copy.

Log into your site and go to the section where you can edit the HTML. Once you are on the layout of the site paste the Meta tag code into the HTML after the tag and before the tag.

Now that you have the Meta tag pasted into the HTML, go back to webmaster tools and click verify. If you pasted the Meta tag in the correct place in the HTML, you will get a green check mark stating that your site has been verified.

So now your site is verified and you are ready to paste Adsense ads on your site. To do this simply login to your Adsense account and click on the Adsense Setup tab. Choose your product, (Adsense for Content for example) and follow the easy to follow instructions until you arrive at the Submit and get code section. Click once anywhere in the code to highlight the entire code. Right click on the highlighted code and click copy. Now go back to your site's edit HTML and paste the product code into the HTML after the tag and before the
Play around with the Adsense unit's code while pasting it to the HTML so it is exactly where you want it to be located on your site. Do not alter the Adsense unit's code however; this may result in the ad not appearing correctly on the site.

Be sure and choose relevant keywords when choosing your Adsense for search product. The keywords should be directly related to the site's content. This allows Adsense to produce relevant ads for you to post on your site. So now all you need is the traffic to your site!!!
